Antoine Blackman is an American comic book artist and writer from Milwaukee, WI. He has worked on all stages of comic production (writing, pencils, inks, color, lettering, and editing). He also teaches classes locally for writing and art.
His professional work includes graphic novels (“Gideon’s Journey”), comics (“Dr-Vigilante: Last Stand for a New Life”), comic strips (“Black Kids Play Baseball”), webtoons, illustrations, concept art, graphic design, and fashion illustrations.
Previous employers include Black Baseball Mixtape, Dr-Vigilante, IC Isabella Design, Alonso Sound, and Thrill Comics.
He is currently producing his creator-owned graphic novel “Game Changers”.
When not drawing and writing, Antoine loves watching movies with his wife and coaching youth sports for his sons.
